#5 How to get from Prague airport to city centre using public transport
Traveling from Prague airport to Old town via Prague public transport (abbreviation PID) is the cheapest way. You can get from the airport to the main railway station in Prague by using of public transport. Simply buy a ticket in the Prague Public Transportation INFOCENTRE marked by (METRO –TRAM-BUS) in the airport at a cost of about US$1.60 (for 90 minutes) and then find Bus 119 located directly outside of airport. Don´t forget to validate your ticket in the bus.
From the airport, Bus 119 will take you to the A Line (green) metro station Veleslavín in about 15 minutes. From this metro station, you can use the same ticket you purchased at the airport to go another 10 minutes by metro into the Prague city center (MUZEUM) and then to switch to C Line (red) and go to the station “Hlavní nádraží” (Main railway station).
